20260727 1400 Cybersecurity Safety and Risk Awareness for Attorneys After AI Implementation

Originally Aired on ACB Media

This accessible, live, 75-minute certificate program addressed AI safety, ethics, data protection, and risk reduction in legal practice. It examined how AI use without safeguards could expose confidential information, professional judgment, and a firm's credibility. Participants learned to use AI without exposing confidential or privileged information; understand hallucinations and avoid fabricated case law; identify shadow AI and the risks of unsanctioned use; recognize AI-assisted phishing, deepfakes, and social engineering; and spot and stop scams before money, data, or reputation was lost. Participants who completed the program earned the AI Safety, Ethics, Data Protection and Risk Reduction for Attorneys Certificate issued by Safety and Security Source and the Business and Non-Profit Safety and Cybersecurity University. The program emphasized practical risk reduction to protect licenses, clients, and credibility.
